Larry Schue’s play pokes affectionate fun at the characters who inhabit this Georgia fishing lodge. Among them are the landlady, her nephew, his not-quite-right brother, the nephew’s girlfriend, and some local klansmen. In assembling this comfortable, well-worn inn, I included lots of handicrafts the landlady made, fish trophies from her dead husband (after all, the lodge was his dream) and her red chair, where you can almost smell the mildew.
