The director wanted this to be a presentational Streetcar. I organized an open-frame arrangement of apartment furniture perched on a thrust, established a second level to accomocate the life of the street and assembled these images into paint elevations for portal, drop and legs.

The original photograph is of grander New Orleans architecture than the Kowalskis might inhabit, but the contrast between the ambition of the architectural decoration and the apparent decay suits this play well.

These images were largely composed and edited in Photoshop with some hand drawing added.
