Pat Davis is a dancer/choreographer recently moved to New York City from Chicago. This Interiors project has two practical requirements: Sufficient space for a ballet barre and appropriate space for entertaining - a gathering which might be dinner for six, or a dance party for twenty.

Beyond practical requirements the objective is to make the space a cocoon of comfort and serenity to soothe the client after a day in his professional sphere. We'll do this by emphasizing the Horizontal wherever we can, using an quiet, analogus color palette, and echoing the wide horizon of the Midwestern Landscape in the surface proportions.
